John Wilder, Principal, Cottonwood School, would like to honor Angel Dominguez, an 8th grade student at Cottonwood.
Angel began school at Cottonwood in October of 2015. This was not only Angel’s first experience at Cottonwood, it was his first experience attending school in the United States. Mr. Wilder explains that Angel went right to work learning English, meeting personal goals he set for himself and becoming a model student. He is an outstanding citizen and his determination and persistence serve to inspire other students to meet any challenge they may face. It has been less than a year since Angel started at Cottonwood, but he has worked so hard to learn English that one wouldn’t know he hasn’t been here all along.
