Cottonwood's Middle School Basketball Teams are playing their final games on Wednesday, February 11th, when they will be hosting Noli at Cottonwood School. Here is a quick look at the week ahead. Our basketball season is wrapping up on Wednesday at home against Noli. Come and cheer on our Cougars. Valentine Grams are on sale in the office for 50 cents each and will be delivered on Friday. Friday is Valentine's Spirit Dress Up Day. Students are encouraged to wear red, pink and white. Students who participate will earn 5 Star Reward Points. Friday Night our PTO is hosting a Valentine's Activity Night from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The cost is $10.00 per student and will include dinner. Hemet Unified School District will be closed for Presidents Week, February 16th-February 20th. ELOP will be on campus for student enrichment February 17th-February 19th. Please contact ELOP if you would like to enroll your students for these special days. #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars

Friday Night from 5:30-7:00 p.m. our PTO is hosting a Valentine's Activity Night for our Middle School Scholars. The cost is $10.00 and will cover pizza and drinks, there will also be a snack bar. Students must be eligible to attend. Look at the flyer for the eligibility criteria. Valentine Grams are now on sale in the office. Each Valentine Gram is .50. The Valentine Gram consists of a heart shaped card where you can write a message and a Pucker Pack Warhead Candy Pouch. You can also buy the candy pouches separately if you would like to attach them to something else, or write a greeting directly on the candy pack. The Valentine Grams will be on sale until February 12th, or until sold out, and they will be distributed on February 13th! Don't miss out on the fun! #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars

Enjoy a delicious dinner or lunch at Cane's on February 6th, between 12:00 and 8:00 p.m. and help raise some money to support our ELOP Program. Our amazing partners at The Home Depot in Temecula are hosting a free Kids Building Workshop this Saturday, February 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. This Saturday the kids will be building Penguin Mailboxes. Take a look at the flyer for more information. The building crew is looking forward to seeing our Cougars at the build.

Families of 8th Graders who are interested in learning more about Hamilton High School, mark your calendars for Hamilton's annual Bobcat Night on Wednesday, March 4th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This is an amazing opportunity for families to tour the campus, meet the administrators and counselors, learn about clubs, sports, select their classes, and enjoy a pizza dinner. The students worked in groups to create tall, stable structures and then they selected personal goals to apply perseverance to in order to achieve it. They worked on identifying obstacles that may come up as they journey and creating plans to overcome the obstacles they encounter. Here's to 2026! #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars
