Cottonwood's Kindergarteners did a lesson on making wishes. The students reflected about what they would wish for themselves, what they would wish for their families, and what they would wish for the world. Cottonwood's 4th Graders enjoyed an afternoon at the Ramona Pageant. The Ramona Pageant is an outdoor drama that has been staged annually at the Ramona Bowl in Hemet since 1923 and ties in with the 4th Grade Social Studies Curriculum that studies California history. Congratulations to Eliora who won the bookmark design competition for the year and was awarded a gift bag. #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars

Cottonwood's Spring Market takes place today, Saturday, April 25th, from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Come support local vendors who will have booths with a variety of food, crafts, and other products. Here is a quick look at the week ahead. State Testing continues this week. 3rd-8th Grade Classrooms will be secured from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. to help maintain a quiet testing environment for all of our scholars. The MS Boys Soccer Team has two away games this week. One on Monday and one on Tuesday. Our Girls Softball Team is traveling to Noli on Wednesday for a game at 3:45. Our Track and Field Athletes will be competing in a meet on Thursday, April 30th at Hamilton High School. The first event will take place at 2:00 p.m. On Friday evening, our PTO will be hosting Family Bingo Night. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the first game will start at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome. #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars

On Monday our boys are heading to Nuevo to play Mountain Shadows at 3:15 p.m. On Tuesday the team will be playing in Perris against Granite Hills at 3:15 p.m. Let's send them our best wishes on the road.
