Read Across America Week! February 25th – March 1st

Spirit Days are planned throughout the week.

Monday – Green Eggs and Ham Day – Wear Green to School.
Tuesday – Grab Your Hat and Read with the Cat In the Hat – Wear your favorite hat to school.
Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday – Wear your Wackiest Hairdo.
Thursday - It's Sleep Book Day. Wear your pajamas to school (No slippers!)
*Family Reading Night at 5:00 p.m. in the library. Bring a blanket and settle in for a fun evening.
Friday – Fox in Socks Day – Wear your favorite pair of crazy socks.

Family Reading Night is Thursday, 2/28/19

Literature comes to life tomorrow night, Thursday, 2/28/19, in the Cottonwood Library for Family Reading Night. The event starts at 5:00 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m. Come in your comfy pajamas and bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the evening. School is Closed Friday, February 15th Due to Inclement Weather

Cottonwood Parents the follow statement has been issued by the Hemet Unified School District:

Road and Weather Conditions Effects for February 15th - Parents, Guardians, and Staff:
Due to weather conditions and road closures all mountain schools including Idyllwild School, Hamilton K-8 School, Hamilton High School, and Cottonwood School will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 15, 2019.

Please stay safe and we will see you safe and sound on Monday, February 25th, since we are closed next week for Presidents' Week.

School Dismissed Early Due to Weather - 2/14/19

Due to weather conditions, a decision has been made to close all schools in Anza, Aguanga and Idyllwild. School will close at approximately 11:00 a.m. Students who usually ride the bus will be transported to their normal bus stops where they can be picked up. The arrival time of the busses will arrive approximately 4 and a half hours earlier than normal arrival. Any student who does not have an adult to pick them up at the bus stop will be returned to their school site and a parent or guardian will need to pick them up at school.
