Mark your calendars now for Spring Picture Day on Thursday, March 9th. In addition to all of our traditional Spring Break pictures, our photographers will also be taking pictures of each of our middle school sports' teams! Bring your best smiles!

Read Across America Week will take place the week after Presidents Break. We will be having our annual Hat Decorating Contest on Tuesday, February 28th. Students can decorate any hat of their choosing. There are a limited number of stovepipe hats available in the office for parents who want to pick one up to decorate with their child. Students who attend the ELOP Presidents Week event will be making hats there as well.

Read Across America Week takes places February 27th through March 3rd. This week will be jam packed with fun and learning. In order to plan ahead, here is a look at the Spirit Dress Up Days that will take place that week! Read On Scholars!

This Friday, February 10th, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., Cottonwood's PTO is hosting a Family Sweetheart Hoedown. Admission to the event is free. There will be a family frame craft to make, water and cookies to snack on. A Taco Truck will also be available for meal purchases. To avoid any lines buying meal tickets at the event, meals can be purchased ahead of time in the office.

Cottonwood's PTO is meeting tomorrow morning, Tuesday, January 10th to finalize the Winter Ball. Stop by Room 11 at 8:00 if you are able to help out.

Cottonwood Families, please join Mr. Trudel in the library on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:15 in the Library for Coffee, Pan Dulces, and Conversation. See you there!

Jamba Juice will be on campus selling smoothies during lunch on Thursday, for $3.00 each.

Cottonwood's PTO and a student dance committee have been hard at work for several months organizing a Winter Ball for the middle school students. The Winter Ball will take place on Friday, January 13th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the MPR. Winter Ball tickets are $10.00, which will cover food, beverages, and decorations that will transform the cafeteria into a Winter Wonderland.

Please note, students must meet eligibility requirements in order to attend.
