At this morning's College Kick-off Monday Meet-Up, the PLUS Leadership Students led the flag salute, offered Aloha to a new student, celebrated perfect attendace, recognized the classes with the highest attendance percentages, and helped students from each class share information about their class' dedicated college. It's College Kick-Off Month and our Transitional Kindergarten Scholars read Mahalia Mouse Goes to College, a story about a mouse who gets zipped into a backpack and ends up at college. The students each drew themselves miniature sized and put themselves into backpacks in the spirit of Mahalia's adventure. The students also answered questions about the story and earned college swag. #TheHUSDWay #CottonwoodCougars #CKO2025

Cottonwood's Fall Market is next weekend, on Saturday, October 11th, from 11:00-1:00 p.m. The Market will take place in the parking lot outside the library. Mr. Luna and his 5th Graders are hosting a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, October 11th from 8:30-10:30 in the MPR. October 11th, is the first Saturday School of the year. Saturday School is a fun activity based way to earn back a day of attendance credit and have a great time. The PTO's annual Boo Grams go on sale on Monday for $1.00 each. Each Boo Gram Bag has two mini seasonal rubber ducks, a bracelet, and two other toys making each purchase a surprise.
