We are so excited to be celebrating the accomplishments of our elementary school scholars for Quarter 1 this Friday, October 14th at 8:45 a.m. Students will be acknowledged for their hard work in music, P.E., academics, character, and citizenship. Teachers will be reaching out to parents if their children are receiving awards. Guests who are planning to attend should plan on arriving early to check-in through the office using the Lobby Guard System. Please bring your ID to process your check-in. We can't wait to honor our exemplary Cougars on Friday. See you there.

Fall Festival is this Friday, October 14th! Time to get your FUN on!!

Fall Festival Basket Donations are still be collected until Thursday. Take a look at the basket themes and send in any items you want to donate with your child or you can drop the items off in the office. Thank you so much!

Cottonwood Families, take a look at the October Newsletter. There are lots of things happening this month!

Next week across the HUSD, students will be celebrating #CKO2022. This is a wonderful time for students, families and staff to have conversations about options available to them after they graduate from high school. Please join in the fun!

Cottonwood will be hosting a fall inspired Saturday School on Saturday, October 15th, from 8:00-12:00. There is still time to sign-up. This is an awesome way to have a great morning and earn a day of attendance credit. See you there!

Families, if you are interested in remediation, or acceleration in math or language arts, for your children, the SAFE After School Program will be starting a digital program on October 3rd to support our scholars, called Scholarly Minds.

Students will be given a placement test (all electronically) and then an instructional pathway will be created to remediate any gaps discovered or accelerate them if they are able to work above grade level.

Some students may be eligible for transportation home, depending on where you live.

The program will be available 5 days a week, but you may select fewer days if they would like.

Attention Families, our PTO needs your help! With Fall Festival around the corner, we need donations of candy to be given out as prizes for the festival games. If you are able to help out, please drop off your candy donations in the office. Thank you so much!

Cottonwood Families! Mark your calendars now so that you don't miss out on Family Bingo Night, this Friday, September 23rd, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. There will be food for sale and BINGO Cards are $2.00 donation per card. A fun time will be had by all!
