To Stay Up to Date on All Things Read Across America Week, check out this special edition of the Cottonwood Newsletter!

Cottonwood Families, on Tuesday, March 1st, we are having Wear your Favorite Hat Day in Honor of the Cat in the Hat. Students can decorate any hat of their choosing for the Hat Decorating Contest which will take place on March 1st. If you would like to pick up a Red or White Stovepipe Hat from Cottonwood to decorate, you can do so on Wednesday, February 23rd between 8-10 a.m. or any time on Monday, February 28th.

Attention Cougars, when we return to school on Monday, February 28th, it will be Read Across America Week and every day is a Spirit Day. Take a look at the flyer so that you can play your outfits accordingly.

HUSD Families, mark your calendars now! The Annual CTE Fair, hosted by Hemet High School will take place on March 3rd from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This event will be virtual. Please click on the link below for more information!

Attention Parents - The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (SAFE) will be offering the FREE B4 the Bell (before school programming) starting March 1st at elementary & middle schools. All parents who would like their child(ren) to attend will need to apply. Please see attached for the informational flyer

Greetings Cougars! Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and we are having a Valentine's Spirit Dress Up Day. Wear RED, PINK, or WHITE and come ready to spread some LOVE and POSITIVITY!

Love is in the air!! Cottonwood's Valentine Candy Grams go on sale tomorrow during lunch. Candy Grams are 25 cents each. Parents can buy them in the office for their children and students can purchase them during their lunches. Candy Gram sales will run until February 9. Don't miss out!

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is the 100th Day of School! It is a Spirit Dress Up Day! Try and imagine what you might look like if you were 100 years old!! Let's have some fun!!
