Cottonwood's SAFE After School Program will be hosting a motivational speaker during Red Ribbon Week on Tuesday, 10/29/19, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Due to the nature of the presentation, the targeted audience is students in grades 4-8 (or older) and parents.

Jamba Juice will be selling smoothies at Cottonwood for $2.00 during all lunches. Jamba Juices will be sold on October 11th, 18th, and the 25th.

The Fall Festival will take place on Friday, October 25th, from 5-8 p.m. There will be food, games and fun for all. Festival Attendees may wear school appropriate costumes.

Cottonwood Middle School Students will participate in Mix It Up at Lunch Day on October 22. This is an opportunity for students to make new friends by sitting with students they don't typically sit with. By discovering how we are all alike, new bonds are made, and new friendships are given a chance to bloom.

Cottonwood Families, mark your calendars for Hemet Unified's 5th Annual College and Tech Fair at West Valley High School on October 22nd, from 5-7 p.m. There will be over 50 Booths with Colleges, Universities, and the Military Represented. Bus transportation is available from Hamilton HS at 4:00 p.m.

Cottonwood Middle School Students will be touring Palomar and Mira Costa Colleges to see what our local community colleges have to offer our students. Make sure that your permission slips are turned in so that you don't miss out.

Cottonwood 8th Graders will be taking the PSAT. The day will start off with a PSAT Pep Rally to cheer them on and let them know that their Cottonwood family is behind them 100%! The desks are set and ready to welcome the students.

After School Tutoring starts tomorrow after school. Tutoring will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, from 2:30 - 3:30. If students ride the bus, they can ride the tutoring bus after tutoring. Students must be registered and permission slips submitted in order to participate.

Cottonwood 8th Graders and Parents are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 9th at 5:00 pm. Come and learn about this amazing outdoor educational opportunity.

The PTO will be meeting on Monday, October 7th at 2:45 p.m. in the library to talk about the upcoming Fall Festival and fundraising. See you there!
