Cottonwood Families this week is Parent Teacher Conference Week. School will be dismissed at 12:53 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday will be our standard modified day, with dismissal at 12:19 p.m. Students who report to SAFE will check in directly after dismissal. We are looking forward to seeing every family at their assigned conferences. If you need to make any changes, please contact the teachers via email.

Dear Families,
As a school counselor, my number one goal is to serve students in academic, personal/social and college/career domains. Your input with this counseling needs assessment will be very helpful for me in planning the year and deciding which critical areas to focus on and create additional opportunities for student support. The Book Fair is coming to Cottonwood! Stop by the library between August 26th - August 30th to make your literary selections. The Book Fair will open at 7:30 a,m, and close at 3:00 p.m. M, T, Th, and F. The book fair will close at 1:00 on Wednesdays. Students can also bring money and shop during their recesses.

Cottonwood families, Thursday, August 29th is Back to School Night. The 8th Grade Class will be selling pizza and drinks as a Catalina Trip fund raiser, between 4:45 and 5:45. A general meeting will take place in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. The classrooms will be open after the meeting until 7:00 p.m. for parents and guardians to learn about the teachers' expectations for the year. The Book Fair will also be open in the library from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. See you there!

Re-Registration at Cottonwood on July 29, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and August 1 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Cottonwood Families, Monday, August 12th, is the first day of school! Middle School Schedules will be distributed in front of the school by our Counselor and the PLUS Team Members starting at 7:30 a.m. PLUS Team Members will also be available to walk new students to class! We can't wait to see you!! The first school bell rings at 7:45 a.m.

TK and Kindergarten students and families are welcome to attend a Meet and Greet Event on Friday, August 9th, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Room 1, with teacher, Mrs. Whitmore.

Calling all 5th Grade Parents! Tomorrow Cottonwood's Middle School Team is hosting 5th Grade Shadow Day. This is an opportunity for parents and students to experience a day in the life of a middle schooler. Parents and students will follow a modified schedule and meet each middle school teacher and learn about middle school expectations. The morning will conclude with some time for parents to ask Principal Betts any questions that they may not have been answered. See you there!
